Dr. Paglioni's research focuses on the risk and reliability of complex socio-technical systems. His work seeks to understand how risk propagates through systems, and the role of human operators in stopping or aiding that process. He holds a Ph.D. in Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
