Dr. Kami Mohammadi is an assistant professor of Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Utah. His research focuses on using machine learning to solve forward and inverse problems in geologic media. By integrating physics-based models with data-driven approaches, he develops non-invasive subsurface characterization techniques to enhance understanding of site-specific responses to natural and anthropogenic hazards. Dr. Mohammadi has over six years of industry experience in geotechnical engineering and holds a PE from the State of Utah.
