Dr. Aritra Banerjee’s research interests include the design of extreme weather adaptive civil infrastructure, bio-inspired geotechnics, and advanced characterization of unsaturated, expansive, and frozen soils. He has been funding $2.3 million through grants from funding agencies like the NSF, USDOT UTCs, and state DOTs.
