Professor Sherry joined the faculty of the University of Denver in 1985 and the Executive Director of the National Center for Intermodal Transportation in 2003. He specializes in executive leadership development, trespasser fatalities, and corporate safety culture. He has studied the effects of critical incidents on transportation as well as sleep and fatigue and job performance. Most recently he authored a study on leadership styles related to the development of an effective safety culture.
